I have looked over alot of post on how to unistall project server I have the
general idea. but I have a few more. first things first. I want to unistall
project 2k3 and reinstall it on a new server. my consers are
1 sharepoint should I uninstall it aswell?
2 if I plan on creating new DB's can I just delete the old one or should I
just leave them there and use differnt names for the new ones.
3 I made the mistake of installing project on a production box that install
in not working corretly so that is why I want to uninstall it. The new box is
just a member server to the domain but not doing any work yetbut the SQL
server is in production. Is that removed enought from the production
enviroment or should i isolate it more. ie put sql on that box as well?

Use Add/Remove programs to uninstall Project Server. After the uninstall
completes successfully, you can go to SQL Server and remove the old database
and the ProjectServerUser and ProjectUser logons. That should give you a
complete and clean uninstall. Change nothing manually in IIS, SQL or muck
with any other Project Server components before you run the uninstall or
it's likely to fail.

If there's nothing worth preserving in the old database, by all means remove
it. This would be the expected and recommended course of action.

Whether or not you put SQL on the new box, or uninstall WSS from the old one
would depend on your preferences and requirements. There's no sense running
WSS if you don't need it.
