Hi all,

I have a project that is in a template that I have seved
to the Startup folder, so that its global.

When I try and run the macros from a toolbar I get
a "Unable to run specified macro" error.

In the Tools>>> Macros Edit is not an option for macros
in the this template.

When I open the template and go to visual basic editor
Then try to look at the properties I get " Project Locked
Project unveiwable"

I have onbviously done something somewhere, any ideas
what and where?????

Thanks again for your continued help

Hi Adrian,

You will need to move the template out of the Word\Startup folder to be able
to view the macros in it. To move it, you will have to shut-down Word.

Thanks for that Doug, I didnt realise that.

The only reason I want to view the macros is because they
do not run. I get that message "Unable to run specified
macro"

What do you think is causing that?

Hi Adrian,

Move the template to the templates folder an open it and then try and run
the macro. When the error occurs, click on Debug and see what line of code
is highlighted.

If you can't fix it, paste the code of the macro into a response back to the
newsgroup and provide an explanation of what the macro is supposed to do.
