Project VB Help problem

I have done both standard and custom install of MSProj 2000 with
similar results - VB Help Answer Wizard and index functions do not
work. Help contents can be expanded and browsed, but Answer Wizard and
Index fields will not accept focus - cursor takes shape of
double-headed arrow but does not permit entering data in keywords
fields.

Does anybody know what is causing this? Browsing help to find answers
is not very helpful.
