Project Versions

Hi,
I would like to save project in draft version first and after reviewed
(approved) by the supervisor the project will published in the project server.
I don't want publish the project plan before that project plan already
approved by the supervisor (manager) and also only the supervisor could save
the baseline and then publish the project.

Is there anyone how to implement it ?

You can set permissions up so that only a select group of users have the
ability to save any baselines. You would need to create a group
specifically for your supervisor for that purpose.

You cannot have a version of a project without also having a Published
version which will show up in PWA no matter what. What you can do is set up
a Project Outline code with a status value of Draft and use that outline
code value to exclude those Published Projects that are set to Draft out of
all PWA views. This can easily be done.

If you want to put assignments in and not have them published to resource
timesheets your could assign the resources first as proposed and publishing
will not send out any notifications or assignments.

The process would then be for the supervisor to approve a project, change
the outline code status from Draft to Active or something like that and to
change the resources on the project to Committed and publish the plan. Now
you will have notifications go out to resources, the plan will show up in
PWA along with assignments in resource's timesheets.
