Hello!

Is this possible,
I have a group that has the same permissions as the portfolio managers
group.

but i don't want that group to see the cost. I want them to see everything
else BUT the cost.

is that possible?

thanks

To accomplish this, you will need to create two new Categories and one new
Group in PWA. One Category will be an exact duplicate of the My
Organization category, but will not include any Project Center, Project, or
Resource Center views that display costs. The other Category will be an
exact duplicate of the My Projects category, but will not include any
Project Center, Project, or Resource Center views that display costs. The
new Group will contain all of the users who need Portfolio Manager
permissions without access to costs, and will also contain both of these new
Categories. You will need to select each of the two Categories individually
and then set the permissions in the Permissions grid for each Category to
match the way they are set in the Portfolio Managers group. In the Global
Permissions grid, you can set the permissions using the Portfolio Managers
template. Hope this helps.

Keep one thing in mind: You can't hide costs from anyone with access to the
project plans using the Project client.
