Project view in PWA

I am a new administrator on Project Server. When I attempt to log on to the
Project page, Task page, Resource page or updates page, PWA bumps me back to
the home page and will not let me view. It seems like the permissions are all
correct on the server side. Is there something I need to do on the user side?

One of the Group/Category combinations to which you are assigned has some
view permissions set to "Deny." Or, a Deny has been set globally.
