Project web access error message

We are trying to export the issue list. When we select "edit in database" we
receive the error message.
The list cannot be displayed in Datasheet view for one or more of the
following reasons.
- A datasheet component compatible with Windows Sharepoint Services is not
installed(We have Excel installed on all desk tops)
-Your web browser doews not support ActiveX Controls (Windows Exployer 6.0.2
Sp2)
- Support for ActiveX controls is disables. (we have Active X controls
enables on desk top and Server)

What could be the problem?

What version of Excel do you have installed? You need 2003 or later for it
to work.

Hi Kevin,

I am experiencing the same error and my software setup is very different: I
am running Excel 2003 and IE 7 Beta 3. On another box I am running IE 6 and I
have no problems editing in datasheet mode.

I thought my issue was related to IE 7 which, btw, doesnt allow me to export
the Portfolio Analyzer graphics as GIF.

Are you running Excel 2003 on the I 6 box. I want to make sure my issue is
the Excel 2003 issue. We do run Excel 2000 on some of our boxes and that
doesn't work either.
