Project Web Access issue

Using MSP2003Ent.

A couple of my users are experiencing a situation after PWA is loaded
successfully on their systems. When user clicks on (Tasks tab) the task page
will start to load and bring you to page (View my Tasks) and hang there with
message “loading dataâ€. This also happens with the Risk tab.

Is the issue related to the user or the machine they're on?

Do they have a large number of current tasks/issues?

I'm not sure if it is the machine, about 80% of PWA is working correctly.
For some reason these two areas (Risk, task) pages won't load. They start to
load but then just hang there in limbo. These are Team members and their
task load is not large. I'm not a Hardware guy so it could be their system.
Any ideas?

One of the things I was told to check is that users p/c is running MDAC
ver2.8. Their systems are running MDAC ver2.8, so this rules this out. I
think it might have something to do with ActiveX ?????? Anyone !!!!!!!

I did some investigating and found an article those talks about -Loading Data
Errors-. This article suggests deleting all < PJ*.class> files and then go
again on a Project Web Access page, this way the missing element will be
downloaded again. Before I try this I wanted to get some opinions. Will
this work, or better yet will this fix my problem????

Did you get this sorted? If not try this regfix

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{379E501F-B231-11D1-ADC1-00805FC752D8}]
@="MsxmlIsland"

Hi Paul,

What does this registry edit do?

I am having the same loading problem, but for the user experiencing this a
Microsoft Internet Explorer shows:

An error was encountered in loading the page. Refresh the page, or contact
your server administrator if this problem persists.

And this only happens for the Applied Task Update Requests and Errors page,
and it seems to happen for only one user.

Can you please help me with this issue please?
