Project Web Access usage

Hello,

We have setup a pilot environment - MS Project server 2003. Couple of
projects are using it for their project execution. Top management wants a
report representing the Usage information of MS Project Web access in terms
of - Project Server function used by which user and how many times. Something
like Click summary by user / project server function.

I know of the feature of 'Site Usage report' and has obtained a report from
this feature. But i think this feature on provides the usage infromation of
Sharepoint site associated to the project and does not represent the
infomation of all the features of project web access. Am i correct?

If yes, do you know how can i obtain this information which will represent
the actaul usage of Pilot environment so as to let the top management know
about it correctly.

Rajesh,

Your assumption is correct about the site usage reports - that's only the sharepoint stuff. If you want detailed visitation records of your project server site you'll probably need to use a tool like webtrends. There are no built-in tools that will do this for you.

Basically, webtrends takes a log file from a web server and helps you perform detailed analysis on the web site. Hope that helps some.

I do have a similar need. Do you know where I can find the log file in
project server?
