Project Web Access

We've had MS project server installed in our organization for about 2 years.
In the last couple of months we've had the follow issue:

We have a handful of folks that are getting the userid/password box when
trying to access project web access http://projectserver2003/projectserver.
And they can't get past the sign-on it just keeps popping up. We normally can
access the site without any sign-on using windows authentication.

Users having this problem can rename the windows profile on their local
machine and then sign back into their machine, which creates a whole new
profile. Then it works for a couple of days.

Any ideas?

Do these users have custom toolbars on their browsers, such as Google or
Yahoo? Or, have they checked View > Explorer Bar > Discuss? Sometimes,
these things cause connection problems.

I disabled discuss and disabled some other plug-ins and that fixed it!
