Project with tasks at multiple dates?

Athena

Hello,

I have been trying to create a project with the following outline:

4/12 4/14 4/16 4/18
..........................
1 Task1 1 1 1 1 ................
2 Task2 1 1 1 .................
3 Task3 1 1 1 ..................
....

In each case the tasks run at several day intervals only for one day.
They are all completed in 34 days.
I also would like to place some numbers within the tasks bars.

I am using Project 2000.

How can I do this? Thank you.

Athena,
It sounds like a perfect fit for a recurring task. Go to
Insert/Recurring task and set up each task as needed.

As far a placing numbers within the task bars, unless you are talking
about one of Project's built-in fields (e.g. Duration, Work, etc.), you
will need to designate a spare number field for the data. Then go to
Format/Bar Styles and in the lower half of the Bar Styles definition
window, set up the Gantt Bar to display your field inside the bar. A
caution however, unless you have an expanded timescale, the bar may not
be long enough to display the value. You might be better off showing the
data somewhere around the bar (i.e. right, left, above, below).
