Project with two different resource sheets

I'm using project pro 2003. I have developed a schedule for a project that will be used in two different portions of the organization. One portion is using the server. I have to set up the resource sheet differently for each department. I cna't get them to use one sheet for the project, no avail. Their output reporting is differently

So my question is how can use one project with two different resources? Or do i have to maintain two project schedules with two different resource sheets

Hi Jiminica,

I would definitely go for two files.
If teh need exists, there are consolidation possibilities around.

So I would have to status both project files? Darn. I was hoping there was a way to have one consolidated file. I have to status the project every week, in both week.

One part of the organization will be using the Web Access to update their tasks. Is there an easy way to take that data and port it over to the other file?

Hi,

You can consolidate of course.
I know about nothing on PWA but using a resource pool may give you what you
want.

On the other hand I'm afraid I am losingyou here.
Do you want to use different resource sheets or consolidate files (such that
again you will have each resource only once) ?
