Project working times in Project 2003 standard

The Wizard does not handle nightshift properly at all. Take "Project Working
Times" Define the Work week, select "I want to adjust the working hours...."
select any day and fill in from 22:00 to 0:00 & 0:00 to 7:30. Then "apply to
all days" with all 7 day's selected. "Save and go to step 3. The wizard
displays the message :" The working hours for Sunday are not valid. Please
enter valid working hours. The end time for a shift should be after the
starting time for that shift. Each shift start after the prvious shift ends.
I have not found a way to tell the system the first 0:00 is the 24th hour of
the first day, and the second 0:00 is to be considered the beginning of the
next day.
What is really needed is a shift from 22:00 till 02:00 & 02:30 till 7:30.
The settings I use are work around but even that doesn;t work.

Hi cjal,

I believe the problem you are seeing is that working hours cannot span
midnight (0:00).

I was just able to get what I think you are seeking: a seven-day
workshift that on each days runs from midnight (0:00) to 02::00 and
02:30 to 07:30 then from 22:00 to midnight (0:00)

Try setting the shift:
From: 00:00 To: 02:00
From: 02:30 To: 07:30
From: 22:00 To: 00:00

You'll need to click the "Specify additional shifts" hyperlink to be
able to add the third set of hours.

That works for all seven days.

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.
