I'm torn between automatically creating project workspaces and
allowing the PMs to decide when. On one hand, project workspaces
really aren't necessary for the smallest of projects, but on the other
hand I understand that in order to use the deliverable features, you
can't unless a project workspace exists.
Also, its a matter of space allocation. One would think without
knowing any better that these workspaces are space-hogs. On the other
hand, I've heard from at least one person that they really aren't that
space-hungry.
Let's say I set Project Server to create a workspace each time. What
happens if we decide 50 projects will never have a need for them and I
delete them. Aren't they just re-created?
Approx how much space does each empty workspace take? Where can I
check on the server to confirm this (directories, folders, etc.)?
If PMs are given a right to delete projects, and they delete a
project, does it delete the workspace as well?
Could many of you respond as to who you are approaching this issue?
Thanks,
