Project Workspaces

I want to copy folders and/or files form one project workspace to another
project workspace. I tried using the Explorer View with the drag and drop
technique sometimes I'm successful. Sometimes I drag the file to the other
window and nothing happens. Do you have other ways of doing this task. What
has been your experience with completing this task? Mahalo (means thank you)

Hi randya,

Yes that is a problem and I dont think that you are able to find an easy
solution.
Try this one. when you "upload" to the new document library you can actually
browse to another workspace url and document library. You may find this a
little easier.

Alternetafly you may need to save the documents locally on your machine and
then upload the documents from the local machine to the new library.

Try this:

1. Copy the URL of your documents workspace .. e.g.
http://projectsrv:8066/sites/MS_ProjectServer_PublicDocuments/Shared Documents/

2. Click 'My Network Places' on your desktop
3. Click Add network place
4. Paste the above url & follow the wizard
5. It will create a shortcut under 'My Network places' folder

Do the same for other workspace then try to copy files.
