For a short answer, MS Project is a Project Management application. The
latest version is Project 2003. Although it is not included with MS
Office, Project is considered to be part of the Office suite. The main
forte of Project is to provide tools for creating and tracking time
based projects. Probably the best way to find out more about it is to
