Project2003/Sharepoint URL path references need changing to be fully qualified

Brandon

I built our Project server / Sharepoint server using only the server
name in the URL references. I need to change this (everywhere needed)
so that all links created in email sent to users have the full dns
name (and https). Ideally all references to the server would have the
fully qualified paths.

Currently: http://servername/projectserver

Needed: https://servername.domain.com/projectserver

SSL currently works fine in project web and pro when manually
specified.

In the Admin section of Project Web I've found these two sections that
have URL's that may need changing to the fully qualified path..

1. Server configuration
2. Manage Windows Sharepoint Services

Are these two sections the appropriate places to change? Are there
others?

Is it safe to make these changes?

Thanks for any advice as well as your time.

Brandon,

I think those are the only places you need to worry about. Is this a fresh install? How many people are you going to disrupt if it doesn't work?
