Projecting mpeg videos from powerpoint thru a projector : problem

Seb

Hello,

I have inserted some mpeg videos in my power point presentation. Whenever I
run the slide show on my computer only, I see the slide, the title and the
video that runs in a small square.

When I project this presentation on the wall thru a projector I encounter a
problem. When the slide with video appears all I see is the video as if it
was going into full screen mode (no more title or background).

Is there a setting or something that affects how presentations are projected?

It's not the black box problem I am having. The video works on the projector,
it,s just that it's all I see (no more title, background, etc...). The video
takes the whole screen on the projector but displays fine on the laptop.

It sounds like the video overlay problem, check your settings are set to
clone the primary monitor not full screen.
The settings are only available when the projector is connected and vary
location depending on the graphics card.

PS. Sometimes its called mirror view.

I'm having the same issues (black box) and the problem may be in the overlay
settings - however - when I go to properties I am unable to "get to" the
settings I need to change them whether the projector is connected or not. I
have a Toshiba Satellite P15-S420 with an Nvidia Ge Force FX 5100 card.
Suggestions? I'm desperate.
