Projecting PowerPoint while simultaneously working on same computer??

Don

I project PowerPoint presentaions which run continuously for 1.5 hours
onto a Net T.V. Is there a way to work on other files on my G4 OS 10.4
while simultaneously projecting my presentaions? Perhaps the solution
is connected to some display function I'm not aware of?

Hi Don,

Yours is the second posting with a similar request, and it sounds
interesting.

I doubt a G4 would be able to handle a whole lot more than a
presentation running - especially if it had some of the newer animations
and/or multi-media effects running.

But one of the new Intel duocore machines with a good graphics card
might have enough left over horsepower to do it. Maybe the PPT team
could cook up a way for your idea to work.

I can't remember the name of the application, but our church uses it to
present video to multiple LCD projectors while still having the PC free to
edit slides in real time. It is dependent on the video card supporting SVGA
video out with a different display on screen.

It supports and can use PowerPoint as source files. If/when I figure out
what it is, I'll let you know.
