PROJECTOR PROBLEMS

I have borrowed a Texas MP7730 projector, I have linked it to my Laptop and
when I boot up the process is shown via the projector, but when boot up is
complete the projector screen reads PC SEARCHING, I am an IT Pygmy so please
be gentle.

Gavin,

Check what the native resolution is for that particular projector.

Make your 'desktop' the same resolution

e.g. 1024x768 pixels

As some projectors cannot handle certain higher resolutions.


If that does not do the trick, check the 'refresh rate' on your make
