Hi there!
We've several issues with projects that are checked-out "anyhow"...
Our setting is MS Project Server 2007, SP2, April CUP. August CUP not in use
due to several issues that we've experienced (waiting for December CUP). The
system is used by few hundred project managers. Actual work is reported via
"My Tasks". Some project managers using rules to auto-accept the reported
Actual Work.
We are recognizing project that are checked out by any reason. First we
thought it would be user-errors caused by the "Check-in project"-dialogue
when closing an already saved project. But now, we are definitive sure that
projects are checked out at a time, the project managers are sitting in a
meeting or even are off for vacation.
Since we did not find any issue-reports in the known resources, I'll try
this post. Do you recognize similar problems? Are there known issues?
Thanks,
JIM
