Hi!
We have several projects where the IT department (divided into 3 groups) is
working on in different teams. We want to use project server 2007 to display
an overview report for the executive board.
Basically 3 dimensions are of interested:
- Time
- projects and
- resources (employees).
So the report should display this very simple 3-dimensional overview.
I know how I would do this in Project Standard: I would consolidate all
projects in one project master file including a resource pool (like perfectly
described in Mike's tutorials). However, as we use project server, this is
not possible.
So I think it all comes down to question how I can make report of the usage
of all enterprise resources, ideally accessible through PWA. Something like
the who does what when report, just over all projects on project server.
Is the only way to achieve this by defining data analysis views or is there
anything smarter?
Thanks.
