Hi,

I am using Project Server 2007 and MS Project 2007. I have created a new
project and published it to the project server, I can see the project in the
Project Center.

I have created a data analysis view using "Assignement TimePhased" cube and
have added project list field as the filter and task list as the row filter.
The problem is that the newly created project is not available in this
project list field, niether any task is available in the task list field for
that project.

kindly help.

Regards,

You have to rebuild the analysis cubes before the project will show up
there.

The standard process is as follows:
1) Save and Publish a project
2) The publish will push the data from the Draft database to the Published
database which makes the data visible via PWA (i.e. Project Center)
3) The data then also gets copied from the Published database to the
Reporting database immediately after and as part of step 2. This makes the
data available in the reporting database for reporting for example if you
are using SQL Reporting Services to run reports.
4) If you have the system set up correctly, you would then have a scheduled
analysis cube re-build commonly set to run nightly which will take all the
current data in the Reporting database and will generate data analysis cubes
for you to run data analysis reports off of.

So if you published a new project and your data analysis is set to run
nightly then the new project data will not be available for you until the
following day.

Hope this helps,
