I have one user with a very peculiar problem. Last week he noticed
that, after making changes to 2 of his plans, MS Project would not
publish any of the changes. He would select Collaborate > Publish >
New and Changed Assignments, select the entire project from the
dropdown, and click OK. But once he did that, nothing happened. There
was no change in the status bar showing the project being saved, and
the spooler did not change its icon showing it was updating the
server. None of the envelopes with exclamation points changed either.
The project simply would not publish. We tried this with all the other
publishing functions as well with the same affect.
He is able to still publish other project plans without error, and I
am able to publish the problematic plans successfully. It seems like
the problem isn't with either his client or the project plans, but
only when one works with the other. I haven't seen anything like this
before. Any ideas?
