Prompt for profile

Steve Ormsby

We have an in house application called Geneva which is an SQL database which
is used to log calls for property maintenance. A function of this application
is to send emails to various building contractors via Outlook. There are no
email settings with the application itself.

This application is published via Citrix servers. When being run from a
Windows 2000 server with Outlook 2000, Geneve brings up the 'Prompt for
Profile' box when sending an email and the user selects the correct email
profile to send the email from. When being run from a Windows 2003 server
with Outlook 2003, this does not happen. Is there a way to enable this
function for Outlook 2003?

We are a facilities company and so have multiple customer contracts, each
requiring it's own version of Geneva. Without the function to select the
email profile, we would have put the various instances of Geneva on to
separate servers, not cost effective.
