prompted for Office CD during patch install

Hi All,
My colleague and I have tried a lot of different command
line options to isntall the latest Office 2000 patch
(VBE6ff.msp). during install ("msiexec /i vbe6ff.msp" and
various other parameters), we're always prompted for the
Microsoft Office 2000 Professional CD. We've tried setting
up an administrative share, tinkering with the registry,
etc. Has anyone been able to get this to work? Has anyone
been able to direct the install somewhere else for the
files it's trying to access?

I have the same problem. It has something to do with
windows installer. Even uninstall Office XP discard.
