Prompting for Save on Send in Outlook 2003

One of the only things I liked better in Lotus Notes than in Outlook is the
ability to be prompted to save sent messages. Is there something I can do in
Outlook so that not every message is saved upon send, but instead it asks me
if I want to save it? This is a great feature, and I just can't believe MS
wouldn't provide it with their mail app. I figured one of you smart folks
would know how I can do it - I'm relatively new to Outlook, so I'm assuming I
just haven't been able to find the trick yet. Thanks!

You can be smart too, and ask your question in an Outlook forum :)
This one is about the Microsoft Access database system.
In short, yes, this is possible but requires advanced programming. You
can write an Outlook add-in that listens for events such as items
being added to the SentItems folder, prompt the user, and delete if
not needed.

THanks, Tom. The list of forums was extremely long and in a seemingly random
order - I thought I had posted to a general question forum. Apologies for
hosing up the works. Here's an idea...alphabetical order! ;) I'll try to
find it and repost there.
