Prompting in sharepoint services

Hello,

I m getting a headache these days.Since the implementation of WSS in our
office,the client was always prompted for user name and password whenever
they clink on a tab in WSS.Its kinda irritating for the users even though
they can use WSS by just dismiss it.All the users had been granted right to
the SharePoint site.I export their id through Outlook address book.We use
active directory in our company.All user are granted right in PWA and WSS
thru Windows Authentication.Please Help.

If you specify in IE that it uses as login their existing name and password
then your AD users will not get this prompt when using the browser to access
a WSS site.

Internet Options / Security / Custom Level / Logon section (at end)
"Automatic logon with current username and password"

I presume there's no difference in the Project Server use of WSS.
