Prompting

Hi all,
Why my client kept being prompted for usr name n password when accessing
share point sites even though he is granted rights to that sites.?

I think I had a problem like what you are describing although more detail
would be helpful. First, go to Site Administration for the project that
your user is trying access and see if they are in the users list. If not,
add them. This fixed our problem. In our case, we had some test accounts
that started as Project Server authenticated but changed to Windows
authenticated. Any project they were assigned to before authentication was
changed would not allow them to go the Sharepoint site. Any project created
afterwards would allow them in.

I believe there is a way to synchronize the accounts between Project Server
and Sharepoint but I only know enough to be dangerous. Read up on it.

What kind of authentication do your users have?
Are they domain users?

Hi Manmeet,
We use Windows authentication.Yes they are domain users.By the way the link
doesn't work.I duno wat else i can do about this.The user already granted
administrator still being prompted.
