prompts

Using Windows 2000 and Word 2000.
When I go to save or print a word document, any prompt comes
up behind other open windows. Any ideas? I have unchecked Plugin box in
Norton AV

Hi Fred,

You are certain the Office Plug-in is disabled? The plug-in is the
known cause for dialog boxes appearing behind the application window.
Did you exit and restart Word after disabling the Plug-in?

There is another cause but that applies to Word 2002 - not Word 2000.

Hi Fred,

You may want to search for multiple occurrences of OfficeAV.dll.

If you find more than one then run this command for each copy:

regsvr32 /u "C:\<path>\OfficeAV.dll"

Note that there is a space before and after /u

You should see the message: "DllUnregisterServer in
C:\<path>\OfficeAV.dll succeeded."
