Pronunciation marks

I have been tasked to re-create a 50+ year old, 40 page
document that is basically a small dictionary. How can I
add the pronunciation marks? I've found the majority of
them in symbols, but there are some I cannot find anywhere
(picture oo with one long hyphen over both). My questions:

1) Can I find these somewhere?

2) Is there any way to insert these other than a)copy &
paste each one into each place it needs to go; or b) use
the insert symbol each time?

I truly appreciate any suggestions anyone can offer!

These characters (oo with both macron and breve, plus many others) are
present in the AHD Symbol and Symbol Sans fonts (which came with a long-ago
version of American Heritage Dictionary software). I don't know whether
they're available for download anywhere or not, but I suspect that you could
find them or something similar if you Google for them.

Push comes to shove, could you not use the INSERT FIELD
with an EQ and \o option? I tried this with the OO. I
first found the "overscore" in character maps and added
this to the OO in the equation. It is a hassle true, but
it seems to work alright.

You could also try the EQ \x (box) field with the \to (top) switch, but
neither of these would address double o with breve or some of the other
required characters. Some are found in Unicode's IPA Extensions subset, but
not these, apparently (at least I didn't find them in Arial Unicode MS).

Thank you both for your help. Upon further search, I found
the OO with breve and macron in the Verdana Ref symbol set
in Publisher - not available (or at least I couldn't
figure it out) in Word. Some of the symbols I'm looking
for I still can't find; to be honest, I believe someone
actually sort of "made up" this particular guide, because
some of these I've never seen anywhere. With your
assistance and that of many other resources I went to,
I've come close enough to satisfy my boss - even though
we're going to have to do a bit of consolidating.
