I am having a bl**dy difficult time trying to set the English (Canada)
as the proofing tool in Office 2007.
It's probably ME that's doing something wrong but,
I go to "Start - All Programs - Microsoft Office - Microsoft
Office Tools - Microsoft Office 2007 Language Settings"
I then add English (Canada) in the upper right hand box and delete
English (us)
I 'successfully" select English (Canada) as the default editing
language in the lower box.
I then click "OK".
After I bring up Word 2007, open a document I wrote and click on the
'Spell Checker', ......the Dictionary Language box continues to show
English (US)
The only thing I can think of (that I'm doing wrong) is, .......
the letters I'm checking were all written before I changed the
language from English (US) to English (Canada) and what I must now do
is to, ...... completely re-write the entire document with English
(Canada) as the default.
What think ye all (I do not look forward to re-writing all my
documents just to satisfy demands that words like color, odor,
neighbor, harbor, etc., be spelled colour, odour, neighbour and
harbour.
