Hi all,
How can I develop a custom proofing tool for Word. After googling and
searching MSDN. I could not get a decent result.

I am not so sure if my question is appropiate for this newsgroup. If not
please let me know.

Thanks in advance.

Can you be more specific about this "custom proofing tool"? What do you
want to customize, more specifically?

Hi Cindy,
My objective is to replace the existing Word's builtin Spelling, Grammar
checker with my custom proofing tool. i.e. When a Grammar check is invoked
from Word, it will not use the existing Word's Grammar proofer (Msgr3en.dll),
but instead will use the custom one. Also, I want to provide functionalties
similar to Microsoft's "Proofing Tools for Office 2003". I hope I made myself
clear . Sorry, I could not made my problem clear in the first post.

Thanks

Ash

Microsoft does provide the CSAPI, but you have to request it. Also, I'm not sure
that this comprises grammar (I get the feeling it does not). But you should be
able to find out through the contact information provided in this article
