Proofing tools version problems

I just bought Office XP proofing tools and it will not install on my computer
since I have Office 2000 instead of Office XP. If I buy the XP version of
Front Page or Outlook (instead of a whole new Office XP suite), will I also
be able to use the proofing tools with Word 2000?
