Proper Support of tables would be good...

Its annoying when i paste stuff from Word, a lot of the formatting is lost -
most noticeably with tables.

Unless anyone knows a good workaround?

Hi Tim,

I don't know of a good workaround.

Tables is one of OneNote's weakest points in the original release and
SP1. There are TAB-specified pseudo-tables. But you have to be very
careful when creating them and modifying them is problematic.

Requests for improvements in table handling have been made many times.
I guess we need to wait and see what turns up in the next version.

Cheers for that Andrew - nice to know i'm not doing something stupid.

I've just found a slightly better way (presentation wise, at least) of
copying tables from word - i just used screen clippings. Not ideal...but it
looks good.
