Properties change for embedded swf file

Each time I close out of my PPT, the "Playing" field property of the embedded
swf file changes from "True" to "False." I have to, of course, reset it
before I can play it.

What can I do to prevent this?

Try saving the presentation first before running in slideshow mode to see the
flash. After viewing the flash, you may not be able to view it again. So one
possible way is to save before viewing slideshow. After viewing, do not save
the ppt file. Instead, exit without saving and re-open to continue editing
from there. See if it helps.

There's also a similar post here, where it has been suggested that you can
use PFCMedia or FlashBack (you can initialize Flashback to rewind and play
the movie).

For me, installing the latest version of Macromedia Flash Player 8.0 seems
to work too.
