How do I insert a field from the document properties into my document? Also can I insert the Custom fields from the properties? Finally, if I can insert a properties field, can I insert it into a text box? Oh one last question? How do I edit the properties fields that are in the document already? For example, I'm using one of the Cover pages from the Gallery. How can I change the field that is already there with another field?

Hi Gary

Use Insert> Field> DocProperty then click the Options button to select the
specific property. AFAIK, Custom Properties can't be included unless there's
some way to do it via Apple Script (VBA not being supported in 2008).
However you can go the other way by Bookmarking content in the doc, then
assigning the Custom Property's Link to Content setting to the Bookmark.
