My husband installed Microsoft Office XP on my laptop (with a disk bought
through his company) and from the very beginning, every time I open Word I
get a window indicating that something needs to be installed followed by a
message about a missing proplus.msi. I decided to ignore it but can't any
longer as I now can't get into any of the office programs. I'm now prompted
to enter a product key, but when I do it doen't work. Can anyone help?!

Hi, NYCwriter,

Do you have the original CD? Did you insert it when asked to install
"something"? Was this used to upgrade an earlier version of Office?
