proplus.msi?

D

Diane

Trying to update my office Xp Professional with Frontpage.
Keep getting stalled when I try putting in my Disc to get
needed "proplus.msi" off the original disc. My system says
can't find needed installation info?
I am able to download the update off the microsoft web
site, but when I try to install it, it says put in your
disc, which I do, and then I run into this "proplus.msi"
issue! Where can I get this info? It's not on my hard
drive, or on the disc's they provided!?

The proplus.msi file is one from widely pirated Enterprise (read - not for
home users) version of Office that has made its way around the Internet.
Unless this is a disc from the ONE company authorized to use this CD and
key, you, my friend, have a pirated copy.

That is all very interesting!

I have the MS 2003 Office Software (Partner). Mine is 100% legal, I'm
using the serial number supplied with the software (5 serials
provided, each can be used twice) but I get the same error!!!!
Any ideas?

Regards

John

That reply only referred to the original posters use of Office XP - that is
the software that was widely distributed.

Dear Milly

Do you have any idea why I'm having the problem upgrading and getting
the request for proplus.msi?

I've tried to upgrade several times but on each occasion I have to
cancel when I receive the request for proplus.msi!]

John
