I have an academic edition for Office XP Professional and a 'normal' version
of Front Page 2003. I recently downloaded a service pack update and it is
requesting file PROPLUS.MSI from the disk 'Microsoft Office XP Professional
with FrontPage.' I don't have XP Professional with FrontPage. How do I get
the PROPLUS.MSI file that I need?

If you look in Add/Remove Programs in the Windows control
panel if you find the "Microsoft Office XP Professional + Frontpage"
listing that was the CD used to install on your PC.

You can contact the installer for a copy of that CD (it was
a volume license only edition), or you can backup your files,
uninstall the ones you don't have the CD for, restart and
install from the CDs you have (Office XP Professional & the
separate FrontPage CD).

You'll then be able to load the updates and repair Office as
needed.
