Hello,

I'm trying to use Office Update and while it's installing
it asks for a file called "proret.msi" . I cannot find
this file in my Office XP Pro cd. Can someone please help
me. Thanks!

Turn on the option to show file extensions under Windows Explorer,
View->Folder options. Then try again.

That didn't work. The only file I have on the CD is
Oxpsp1.exe and that want's to install the whole thing all
over again. I was already able to view the extentions,
but the file REQUIRED to update is not there. This is
frustrating... But thanks for trying to help

Never mind, I'm an air head! I was using the wring disk.
For whatever reason the PC I bought had 2 Office cd's.
After looking at all the stuff I found the correct Office
XP Pro cd. Sorry about that, but your support was GREATLY
appreciated!
