Pros and Cons - Using Outlook 2003 with Project Server 2003

We are implementing Project Pro 2003 and Project Server 2003.

I know that team members can use PWA and/or Outlook in order to track tasks.

Are there any recommendations on which to use?

Hi Gary,

Thanks for your reply. I have done some research and there seem to be quite
a few out there experiencing random problems, so thought I would ask here.

I think I may stick with using Outlook for notifications, but perhaps PWA
for task updating.

Thanks again.

The Outlook add-in can be a bit problematic at times, however you should
allow your users to choose based on their preferences. You don't have to
select one over the other.

I understand that you're just getting 2003 setup for the first time. You
might want to acquire two of our books for 2003 which will help you
immensely. Managing Enterprise Projects and Administering Microsoft Office
Project Server 2003. You can find these at http://projectserverbooks.com or
your favorite bookseller.
