Protect customized views in public folders

Dear all,

We have all our contacts from our organisation stored in central contact
folder in the public folders on our Exchange server (2007).

We customized the forms and created some views. Is it possible to protect
the views from being changed?

Or can somebody add/remove fields and the next time he/she selects the view
it will go back to the original version (pre defined view)?

You'll need to write a little VBA routine to set each view's LockUserChanges
property to True. Once you do that, any changes the user makes shouldn't be
persisted.
