Protect design and code...

Dan

Hi:

How can you protect the design (reports, forms) and code
in Access 2002; I DO NOT WANT TO USE THE BUILT IN SECURITY!

In 2000 would be an mde file...

Thank you,

Dan

Hi Lynn:

Ah, The database must be created in the same version as you are working in
to create a .mde file. Thus, if you have a 2000 database you cannot create a
..mde of it in 2002. Convert the database to 2002 and you should be able to
do it.

Thank you, Lynn!

PS:How come was that? I have created the DB from 0, using
2002?!; but now it is fine, anyway...

Because the default file format in Access 2002 is the 2000 format.

Hi Lynn:

What I meant was:

I created the DB that I wanted for the beginning="form 0"
ussing MS ACCESS 2002; I did not know that the deafult is
Access 2000.

....But is fine now... = After Conversion as per you
sugestion it was fine...

Thanks,

Dan
