I am creating templates for a client on PCs. They want the form fields
"locked" so that certain areas cannot be edited by their employees. The
Protect Document/Forms feature seems to do the trick.
However, the problem is that half of their various templates (invoices,
expense reports, etc.) contain an embedded Excel file used by their
bookkeeper. When I protect the form, the Excel spreadsheet cannot be
edited. I tried putting a Section break into the document, and only
protecting the first section. I then pasted the Excel file into section 2, which
is not supposed to be protected. This does not seem to work.
Does anyone know a way to solve this?
THANKS.
