Protect table - macro/template

M

Marco

Hello all

I use a template with macro's to create a document. In the document I also use a table to fill in some address-information

But at the end of the form/macro, when all the fields are filled in and the user can type in the letter, I want to protect the table (so the user cannot change anything in it). Is there a command for this? Or for a whole table, or a row or a cell

Thanks in advance
Marco.

Simplest way is to put the table in a separate section and protect the
document for forms with only that section protected. This is what Word calls
an "online form." Check this in help. For more about online forms, follow
the links at http://addbalance.com/word/wordwebresources.htm#Forms or
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Customization/FillinTheBlanks.htm especially Dian
Chapman's series of articles.

Hope this helps,
