protect the powerpoint presentation

Hi All

I am trying to protect the powerpoint presentation from Editing.I
am using vb.net. it should be like protected as we have it in Excel and
word. (Tools ---> Protect). But unfortunately we dont have protect
option for powrpoint. Is anybody worked on this. PLease dont tell me
like save it in .pps format.. any of that kind. I want to do it
programmatically. Please help me out. it is very urgent.
