If the sender is a contact in your address book, you will not get the
message and Entourage will download the photos. So any time you get a
message with pictures you want from a contact in whom you have confidence,
press cmd-= (command-equals) to add the contact to your address book. You
will no longer see the message for that contact.

Not always. I get emails from addresses in my address book whose
images are not displayed until I click "Display images" - for whatever
reason. I believe this happens most often for messages in my Hotmail
account.

Interesting. If you select the item "Automatically download pictures from
my Address Book contacts" on Preferences / Security, Entourage is supposed
to download them. Do you have that preference set?

As far as I can tell, it is working for me, but I don't have a Hotmail
account to test on.

Yep. I suspect maybe Entourage looks at the *Hotmail* address book for
those, but i could be wrong. I'll have to test that theory some time
when I have the time.
