Hello,
I've recieved a Word file from a PC user and I can't edit
it. If I delete text or graphics, it just turns blue and
strikes out. How can I give myself the privilege to edit
this document? Thanks, matt

Hi Matt,

Is it a Word 2003 document? If so and it was protected using the new
Information Rights Management features accessible to Windows users, then you
*can't* open it on the Mac ... period. You will have to ask the originator
to send you an unprotected copy of the document.

Microsoft is aware of this problem, but it is very important that Mac users
let them know that they want rights management parity and compatibility with
Windows users. Please use the Feedback feature on the Help menu to tell MS
your thoughts on this.
