We’ve generated an updated requisition form, using Excel 2007. We’ve
protected some cells, but left others open for data input.
When someone tries to copy data from an (older) existing form into the new
requisition, the results take on the “protected†format, and they can’t be
edited or removed.
I can use a “Paste Special†and select either “Text†or “Csv†format, to get
the results to appear normally & be editable, but a lot of people are going
to start out with the straight “Paste†function & may become frustrated.
Do you have any ideas as to what’s going on? Might this be an Excel version
x versus Excel 2007 thing?
